Pieter barnard – managing Director
Pieter is the quiet force behind Custom Craft. He is a steady leader with a deep love for the business and a mind wired for solutions. Calm under pressure and open to ideas from every angle, he approaches challenges with creativity, patience, and years of hands-on experience.
While he leads with purpose, he also knows when the team needs a lift. He iss the one who cracks a joke at just the right moment, reminding everyone that even on the toughest days, we build better when we’re in it together.
leandri barnard – director & in-house architect
Leandri holds a Master of Architecture degree and brings a deep architectural sensibility into every detail of the business. From concept to completion, she ensures every space is as purposeful as it is beautiful.
As Managing Director, she leads with clarity, creativity, and a hands-on approach, balancing big-picture vision with day-to-day precision. For Leandri, construction is more than a structure – it’s about people, process, and creating spaces that feel like they belong.
Savvas Steenberg – Operations manager
Savvas is the engine that keeps everything moving. With deep technical expertise and an instinct for problem-solving, he brings clarity, precision, and drive to every site. He doesn’t hesitate – he acts, adapts, and finds a way forward, no matter the challenge. He’s the one you want in your corner when it counts.
Loyal to the core and fiercely committed to the team, Savvas is known as our Pitbull: tenacious, dependable, and never afraid to bite down when it counts.
braam steenberg – senior site supervisor
Braam is more than part of the team. He is part of the soul of Custom Craft. With experienced hands and years of hard-earned wisdom, he carries the quiet strength of someone who’s seen it all, yet still shows up with humility and heart.
In moments of pressure, Braam is the steady voice reminding us to breathe, reset, and rise again. He offers more than support. He offers perspective. He builds not just with skill, but with presence.
patrick – site foreman
Patrick brings sharp focus and unstoppable optimism to every site. With a can-do attitude, a constant smile, and a hunger to learn, he leads by example; proving that growth and grit go hand in hand.
He’s always one step ahead, solving problems, uplifting the crew, and pushing the work forward. Patrick doesn’t just get the job done, he inspires everyone around him to do it better.
tinashe – site foreman
Tinashe brings quiet precision and calm leadership to every project. As Patrick’s older brother, he balances the energy on site with a steady presence and a deep focus on getting things right.
Known for his accuracy and attention to detail, Tinashe is the go-to when something needs to be executed with care and precision. Calm under pressure and consistent in every way, he sets the standard for quality on site.
emanuel – OHS Supervisor
Emanuel is one of the quiet constants at Custom Craft. A long-standing team member whose calm presence, steady focus, and eagerness to learn make him a true asset on every project.
As our safety representative, he watches over the site with care and diligence, always looking out for the team. He’s the kind of person who listens first, speaks with purpose, and leads by example. A true team player, Emanuel brings ease, respect, and reliability to every space he steps into.
Julius – Concrete supervisor
If Custom Craft had a mischievous child, it would be Julius. With a sparkle in his eye and quick wit on hand, he brings lightness to the site, but don’t let his playful spirit fool you. Julius is sharp, focused, and a fast learner with a perfectionist’s eye for detail.
As our concrete supervisor, he approaches every pour with precision and pride, ensuring strength from the ground up. He keeps the crew laughing, the energy high, and the quality uncompromised—. Proving that you can take your work seriously without ever losing your spark.
